The self-service library in Jimei New City recently announced that it now provides 24-hour in-person services. The library was previously closed between midnight and 7:00 a.m. The change comes on the heels of the introduction of 24-hour library services at the Xiamen Culture and Arts Center.

　　Reservations are not required for Jimei New City's self-service library, although visitors must go through a security check. The 2,100-square-meter library includes more than 480 reading seats and 200 electrical outlets.
